Reviews about Marathon Sports

The best way I can describe my experience with running: I know the left foot goes in front of the right, then you alternate until your legs feel like giving out. Also, you wear shoes. So, when my old department store shoes wore out, and I knew I wanted a new pair that didn't hurt the lower half if my body. The clerk who helped me was extremely patient with my ignorance, and knowledgeable about what kind of shoes I needed to be comfortable running in. In less than 30 minutes, I was setup in an extremely comfortable pair of shoes that were inside my budget. I will be buying all my running gear from Marathon from now on.

Really great service. Helped me decide what type of running shoe was best for me based on gait analysis. You get to run in the shoes as well to make sure they're right before you leave with them.

Content to do yoga, smoke (vape), drink cold coffee and occasionally slip on flats... this is the first time my friend conceives of wearing footwear designed to intentionally run (when not being chased or hurrying). Typically only donning black high-heels or flats... she has never engaged in aerobic exercise in her life. But having signed up for Tough Mudder, she must buy her first (yes first) pair of running shoes. The salesperson initially eyes her with some skepticism, but it becomes clear laces are not her thing and he is very accommodating and helpful. The salesperson struggles to explain what running shoes are supposed to feel like and helpfully suggested she put on a pair and run on the sidewalk. Watching my friend run reminds me of someone mindfully eating a tangerine... her brows knit in thought and reflection as she explores the sensations and moves her body through space fluidly like a cat. "I love these things." She remarks... she bought them. wore them once at Tough Mudder. And to my knowledge has never worn them again.
